Monitor the concentration of substances in medical infusions
SCHMIDT + HAENSCH provides the technology to reliably ensure a consistent concentration of substances in medical infusions, such sodium chloride, dextrose and other components in those solutions. In medicine, a solution of sodium chloride (saline) is used as an infusion to rehydrate the body. A saline solution has a concentration of 0.9% to maintain a safe osmolality. Intravenous solutions with reduced saline concentrations typically have dextrose (glucose) added – but more measuring scales are possible.
