The ATR V and ATR VT are benchtop laboratory refractometers designed for reliable routine quality control in laboratories and production environments. Both models combine robust construction, precise measurement performance, and intuitive operation via a modern touchscreen interface.
Offering excellent performance and an outstanding price-performance ratio, the high precision refractometers ATR V/VT are ideal plug- and- play solutions for applications ranging from routine Brix measurements to specialized analytical tasks.
• Plug- and- play solution
• With (ATR VT) or without (ATR V) Peltier temperature control
• Stable, precise measurements
• Versatile applications in production and laboratory
• Easy handling, user-friendly touchscreen operation
• Flat and small sample chamber for easy cleaning
• Stand-alone, robust refractometer
• Excellent price-performance ratio
• 15 pre-installed standard scales and methods
• Precise temperature-measurement for accurate temperature compensation
Both laboratory benchtop refractometers require only a small sample volume to deliver highly stable and precise results. The modern Aquisys3 software supports routine quality control by providing reliable measurement data within seconds. For temperature-sensitive samples, the ATR VT features integrated Peltier temperature control, ensuring accurate thermal regulation without the need for external tempering systems. The ATR V offers the same intuitive operation and measurement performance in a cost-efficient version with temperature compensation. The clear touchscreen interface enables straightforward daily operation and efficient workflow management.
The ATR V and ATR VT are suitable for a wide variety of applications across numerous industries. In the chemical industry, they can be used to analyze solvents, organic polymers, distilled products, or solutions of inorganic compounds. In the food and beverage industry, they can be applied to analyze yoghurt, jam, fruit extract, syrup, honey, coffee extract, vegetable fat, albumen, chocolate, milk, and baby foods. The quality of soft drinks, fruit juice, wine, and beer can be controlled. Medical applications include analysis of serums, blood, and urine. In the petrochemical industry, both devices can be used to monitor e.g. oils, fats, waxes, naphthalenes, raw oils, varnishes, paints.
The ATR V/VT laboratory refractometers combine a compact footprint with advanced functionality. A high-resolution touchscreen ensures intuitive operation and clear presentation of measurement results. In addition to standard scales such as sucrose (Brix), fructose, and invert sugar, users can create and store custom scales to meet specific application requirements. The durable measuring prism and flat sample chamber ensure precise measurements and easy cleaning during routine operation. Integrated interfaces enable seamless data transfer for efficient documentation and quality control. Thanks to Aquisys3, both instruments can be operated directly via the integrated touchscreen or remotely from a tablet, PC, or smartphone.
